Before using the services provided by the Platform (including the website of the Platform (http://www.geidcp.com) and the mobile APP of the development platform), please carefully read the Privacy Policy of the Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Platform ("the Policy") and ensure that you have fully understood the contents of the following clauses. When the participants ("you" or "users") of the Platform use our products or services, we may collect and use your relevant information. We hope to explain to you through this Policy how we collect, use, save, share and transfer such information when you use our products or services, and how we access, update, delete and protect such information.

If users use or continue to use the products or services provided by the Platform, users agree that we collect, use, store, share, transfer and disclose to the public the relevant information of users in accordance with the Privacy Policy.</p>
        <p class="weight7">I. How we collect information</p>
        <p>Personal information refers to all kinds of information recorded electronically or in other ways that can identify the identity of a specific natural person or can reflect the activities of a specific natural person separately or in combination with other information.

        <p>The Platform will only collect and use your personal information, subject to the following purposes, methods, and scope described in this policy, in accordance with the principles of legality, legitimacy, and necessity, after obtaining your consent:</p>
        <p class="weight7">(I) Information collected when users register</p>
        <p>When the user registers an account of the Platform and uses the services provided by the Platform, the Platform may collect the personal information of the user, such as name, personal photos or videos, ID number, telephone number, email, authentication information, location and log information, as per the user's consent and the need of providing the services.

        <p>The contact's name, telephone number, ID number, business license number, unified social credit code and related verification data submitted by the Platform authenticated users according to the Platform service rules are necessary documents for users of the Platform to fulfill their legal obligations of data authentication. For the purpose of verifying the authenticity of user data, the Platform has the right to submit such verification data to a third-party legal organization and verify its authenticity. Such verification is not deemed as a violation of corresponding information protection obligations by the Platform.
        </p>
        <p>Some of our services may require you to provide specific sensitive personal information to achieve specific functions. If you choose not to provide such information, you may not be able to use certain functions in the service normally, but it will not affect your use of other functions in the service. If you provide your sensitive personal information voluntarily, it means that you agree that we will handle your sensitive personal information according to the purpose and manner described in this Policy.

        <p class="weight7">(II) The Platform may have the situation of obtaining personal information of users from third parties</p>
        <p>In the future, users may use third-party accounts (such as WeChat, Weibo, etc.) to log in to the Platform. At that time, the user can authorize the Platform to obtain the public information (including but not limited to nicknames, avatars, list of concerned users, etc.) registered, published and recorded by the user on the third-party platform on the premise of complying with relevant laws and regulations.

            (III) Exceptions with consent
        </p>
        <p>
            According to relevant laws and regulations, we do not need to obtain a user's authorization or consent to collect the user's personal information under the following circumstances:
        </p>
        <p>
            a. It involves national security and interests and social public interests.
        </p>
        <p>
            b. Activities related to crime investigation.
        </p>
        <p>
            c. It is for the purpose of maintaining the safety of life and property of the user or others when the user’s timely authorization cannot be obtained in an emergency.
        </p>
        <p>
            d. The personal information of users is collected from other legal and public channels.
        </p>
        <p>e. Other circumstances specified by laws and regulations.</p>
        <p>Please note that we currently do not take the initiative to obtain your personal information from a third party. If it is necessary to obtain your personal information indirectly from a third party for business development in the future, we will confirm the legality of your personal information source and understand the scope of authorization and consent for personal information processing according to the agreement with the third party before obtaining it, and then expressly declare the source, type and use scope of your personal information to you. If the personal information processing activities required to carry out business are beyond the scope of your original authorization and consent when providing personal information to a third party, we will obtain your express consent before processing such personal information. In addition, we will strictly abide by relevant laws and regulations, and require the third party to guarantee the legality of the information it provides.</p>

        <p  class="weight7">(I) Storage</p>
        <p>We will store the personal information of users collected within the territory of  China in accordance with laws and regulations. The storage period starts from the date when we collect your personal information for the first time and ends on the date when you apply to us for the deletion of personal information according to the contents of the Privacy Policy and the relevant information is successfully deleted. When our products or services stop operating, we will notify you in the form of push notifications and announcements, and delete your personal information or anonymize it within a reasonable period of time.</p>

        <p>We strive to take security measures to protect users’ information against loss, improper use, unauthorized access, public disclosure, modification and damage. We will take all reasonable and feasible security measures to protect the security of information.</p>

The Internet is not an absolutely secure environment, and the communication methods with other users such as e-mail, instant messaging and social software cannot be completely encrypted. We strongly recommend that you use a secure method and use a complex password to help us ensure the security of your account.</p>
        <p>4. The Internet environment is not 100% secure, so we will try our best to ensure or guarantee the security of any information you send us. If any of your legitimate rights and interests are damaged arising from unauthorized access to, public disclosure, tampering or destruction of your personal information due to the damage of our physical, technical or management protection facilities and for reasons attributable to us, we will undertake the corresponding legal responsibilities.</p>

In the event of a security incident such as personal information disclosure, we will promptly inform you of the basic information and possible impacts of the incident, the measures we have taken or will take, the suggestions on your risk prevention and reduction, the remedial measures for you, etc. according to laws and regulations. We will timely notify you of the related information by mail, correspondence, telephone, push notification, etc. Where it is difficult for notifying the subject of personal information one by one, we will release corresponding announcements through reasonable and effective methods. Meanwhile, we will report the disposal of such security incident according to the requirements of competent regulatory authorities.</p>

        <p>A Cookie is a file with a small amount of data. It is sent from a website to the user’s browser and stored on the computer’s hard drive, and may contain an anonymous unique identifier. Users will know that the website of the Platform may contain some Cookies to provide better services, and the Cookies can also be disabled by adjusting the settings of the web browser.</p>

        <p>The Platform can use the users’ personal information for the following purposes. If we use your information beyond the following purposes, we will make an explanation to you again and obtain your consent:</p>

        <p>b. Help the Platform design new services and enhance the existing service experience.</p>
        <p>c. Be used for identity verification, customer service, security prevention, fraud monitoring, archiving and backup, to ensure the security of products and services provided by the Platform to users.</p>
        <p>d. Send users information about products and services that users may be interested in, provide users with advertisements that are more relevant to users, and invite users to participate in activities and marketing on the Platform.</p>
        <p>e. Carry out the internal audit, data analysis and research to better improve the products and services provided by the Platform and the communication with users.</p>
        <p>On the premise of not disclosing the private information of individual users, the Platform has the right to analyze the whole user database and make commercial use of it.</p>
        <p class="weight7">V. How we provide personal information to the public</p>
        <p class="weight7">(I) Share</p>
        <p>
            Within the scope of the purpose of the Privacy Policy, the personal information of users may be shared with affiliates or authorized partners of the Platform. The Platform will only share necessary information. If affiliates and authorized partners need to change the processing purpose of personal information, they should seek the consent of users separately.
        </p>
        <p>
            Unless required by laws, regulations, legal procedures, lawsuits or government authorities, the Platform will not actively disclose users’ personal information publicly. If there are other situations that require public disclosure of personal information, the Platform will obtain the express consent of users. Meanwhile, the Platform guarantees that the security protection measures that comply with laws and industry standards will be taken in the disclosure.

            Unless the user permissions are obtained in advance, the Platform will not actively sell or lend the users’ information to anyone, and will also not allow any third party to collect, edit, sell or disseminate the users’ information for free by any means. However, the Platform reminds users that once users voluntarily disclose users’ information on the Platform, such information may be obtained and used by other people due to the openness of the network.

            To better provide relevant services for users of the Platform, users’ information may be partially or fully disclosed under the following circumstances according to the relevant laws and regulations or the requirements of regulators:
        </p>
        <p>
            a. Disclosing users’ information to a third party with the consent of users;
        </p>
        <p>b. Disclosing users’ information to the respondent at the written request of the respondent if the party concerned is a qualified intellectual property complainant and has filed a complaint, so that both parties can handle possible rights disputes;</p>
        <p>c. Disclosing to a third party or administrative or judicial institutions according to the relevant provisions of laws or the requirements of administrative or judicial institutions;</p>
        <p>d. Needing to disclose users’ information to a third party if users violate relevant Chinese laws or website policies;</p>
        <p>e. Having to share users’ information with a third party to provide products and services required by users;</p>
        <p>f. Other disclosures deemed appropriate by the Platform according to laws or website policies, but the Platform will ensure compliance with the laws and regulations of the country where the platform owner is located.</p>

            (II) Transfer
        </p>
        <p>
            We will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization and individual except for the following circumstances:
        </p>
        <p> 1. We may transfer your personal information with your explicit consent to other parties;</p>
        <p>
            2. In the event of merger, acquisition or bankruptcy liquidation of the service provider of the Platform, or other cases involving merger, acquisition or bankruptcy liquidation, if there is transfer of personal information involved, we shall require the new company and organization to continue being bound by the Privacy Policy, otherwise we will demand this company, organization to ask you again for authorization and consent.

            We will only publicly disclose your personal information under the following circumstances:

        <p>1. With your explicit consent or based on your initiative selection, we may publicly disclose your personal information;</p>
        <p>2. Law-based disclosure: We may publicly disclose your personal information under the circumstances of legal proceedings, lawsuits or mandatory requirements of competent government authorities.</p>
        <p>3. If we confirm that you have violated laws and regulations, we may disclose your personal information with your consent according to laws and regulations or relevant agreement rules such as User Agreement on the Platform and others.</p>
        <p class="weight7"> (IV) Exceptions to obtaining prior authorization and consent when sharing, transferring and publicly disclosing personal information</p>
        <p>
            Under the following circumstances, sharing, transferring and publicly disclosing your personal information do not require your prior authorization and consent:</p>
       <p>  1. Those related to national security and national defense security;</p>
       <p>
            2. Those related to public safety, public health and major public interests;
       </p>
       <p>
            3. Those related to crime investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of judgment, etc.;
       </p>
        <p>
            4. Out of safeguarding your or other individual's substantial legal rights and interests concerning life and property, etc., while it is difficult to obtain your consent;
        </p>
        <p>
            5. Personal information disclosed to the public by yourself;
        </p>
       <p>
        6. Collecting personal information from legally disclosed resources, such as legal news report, government information disclosure and other legal channels. According to the law, sharing and transferring de-identified personal information, which is ensured to be unable for data receiver to restore or re-identify the subject, do not count as external sharing, transferring and public disclosure of personal information, and the storage and processing of such data does not require separate notification to you or obtaining your consent.
       </p>
       <p class="weight7">VI. How to manage your personal information</p>
       <p>You have the following rights to your personal information:</p>
       <p class="weight7">(I) Accessing to your personal information</p>
       <p>If you want to exercise the information access right, you can access it by yourself through the access methods provided by the Platform. If you cannot access your personal information through the access links or channels provided by the Platform, you can contact our customer service staff at any time. we will try our best to handle and reply your request. </p>
       <p class="weight7">(II) Correcting your personal information</p>
       <p>You are entitled to make corresponding corrections through the operation methods provided by the Platform if any personal information processed by us is found to be wrong. If you cannot make corrections through the methods provided by the Platform, you can contact our customer service staff at any time, and we will try our best to handle and reply your correction request.</p>
       <p class="weight7">(III) Deleting your personal information</p>
       <p>In case of the following situations, you are entitled to request us to delete your personal information:</p>
       <p>1. Where our processing of personal information is against laws or regulations;</p>
       <p>2. Where we collect or use your personal information without your consent;</p>
       <p>3. Where our processing of personal information violates the agreement with you;</p>
       <p>4. Where you no longer use our products or services, or you have canceled your account; and</p>
       <p>5. Where we no longer provide products or services for you.</p>
       <p>
        If we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will also notify the entities that have obtained your personal information through us and require them to delete your personal information in a timely manner. Unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, or these entities are independently authorized by you, when you delete information from our products or services, we may not delete the corresponding information in the backup system immediately, but we will delete the information when the backup is updated.
       </p>
       <p class="weight7"> (IV) You have the right to agree or refuse authorization</p>
       <p>When you use the services provided by the Platform, if your personal information needs to be obtained due to access to the services of a third party, we will ask whether you agree to give authorization, and you can agree or refuse to authorize your personal information to the third party.</p>
       <p class="weight7">(V) Cancel accounts</p>
       <p>You can directly apply for cancellation of your account in our products. To apply for cancellation of an account, the conditions for cancellation should be met, including that the account has not been stolen or banned, and the sensitive information such as password and bound mobile phone number has not been changed in the last three months. After you cancel your account, we will stop providing you with products and services, and according to your request, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, we will delete your personal information.</p>
       <p class="weight7">(VI) Response to your above requests</p>
       <p>If you cannot access, correct or delete your personal information through the above methods, or you need to access, correct or delete other personal information generated when you use our products and services, or if you believe that we have any violation of laws and regulations or agreements with you on the collection or use of personal information, you can contact our customer service staff. To ensure security, we may need you to provide a written request or prove your identity in other ways. We will reply to your request within 15 working days after receiving your feedback and verifying your identity.</p>
       <p class="weight7">VII. How we process the personal information of minors</p>
       <p>
        Minors under the age of 18 should use the services provided by the Platform under the guidance of their parents or guardians. The Platform recommends that the parents or guardians of minors read the Privacy Policy and the minors seek the consent and guidance of their parents or guardians before submitting personal information; otherwise, please do not register and log in on the Platform, or use the relevant services provided by the Platform.
       </p>

        We will only use, share, transfer or disclose the personal information of minors collected with the consent of parents or guardians for using our products or services if the laws and regulations permit, parents or guardians explicitly consent, or it is necessary for the protection the minors.

       <p>
        If we find that we have collected the personal information of any minor without the prior consent of his/her parent or legal guardian, we will manage to delete the relevant information as soon as possible.

        VIII. How will the Privacy Policy be updated
